We had our sports day in Mountcollins GAA pitch. The weather was fantastic and great day was had by our School Community , Preschool and School today in Mountcollins . Míle buíochas to the parents, grandparent and baby minders that came to support our Sports Day today.

Míle buíochas to Jeremiah Roche , our resident DJ for banging out a few tunes and Kevin O’Connor for the loan of the speaker and microphone 🎤. All of your support is greatly appreciated👏.

We had our 500 metre races first where each class was cheered on by the whole school. The excitement was electric!

After that exciting start, we went to our stations where each class group got to try out several different activities – from the welly throw to the three- legged race. It was wonderful to see each and everyone of the children taking part.
