Cumann na mBunscol is a voluntary organisation made up of primary school teachers who are passionate about promoting our native games like Gaelic football and hurling. Their aim is to encourage children to enjoy and take part in Gaelic games in a fun and supportive environment, helping to make these sports a central part of school life.
This year, our school team — brilliantly coached by Michael Lenihan and Shane Gleeson — had an outstanding season, finishing in second place in the competition. It was a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for everyone involved. To celebrate their success, the boys and girls were awarded silver medals by the school and treated to a well-deserved party with chips, pizza, and sausage rolls.
A huge well done to all the players and coaches — your hard work and team spirit really paid off!
