Today saw the pupils of the Active School Committee setting up an obstacle coarse for the whole school to enjoy. Each class got a chance to run the course which saw them develop their hopping, skipping, crawling, throwing and jumping skills. Well done Active School

The Junior end of the school went on an active School Tour to Mallow. The rest of the school stayed at school and did lots of activities. The pupils had a fantastic day at Mallow GAA complex. Third to sixth class did the Caher Ring.

All the pupils participated in the Run Around Europe Challenge for 4 weeks. The Active School Committee took on the responsibility of counting laps after each break and calculating hope many were completed each day. They announced to each class where what country in Europe

All the Meenkilly pupils were treated to a pancake on this Shrove Tuesday. 1st and 2nd class made their own pancake mixture. They enjoyed measuring, cracking eggs and mixing the mixture.
