At Meenkilly NS, we encourage pupils to move as much as possible throughout the school day. Sitting for long periods—also known as sedentary time—can affect both our bodies and our minds. By reducing sedentary time, children feel healthier, happier, and more ready to learn.

At our school, we use Active Breaks, the Walkway, playground games, outdoor learning, and fun challenges to help pupils sit less and move more every day.
